Erin McNamara

Erin McNamara

“Some teachers teach a subject. Trisha taught us how to become more fully ourselves. She is strong without being domineering, wise without being superior, and generous with a kind of care that felt more like friendship. I’m still grateful for her, all these years later. Trisha didn’t just teach theater – she helped me fall in love with the arts on a whole new level, and that’s a gift that’s stayed with me ever since.”

Erin is a screenwriter with a strong background in production and TV writing. She was a staff writer on Star Trek: Prodigy (Netflix) and spent over a decade working on set with acclaimed filmmakers like Daniel Kwan, Daniel Scheinert, and Hiro Murai. Her focus is on writing original genre stories—sci-fi, fantasy, and mythic retellings—with an emphasis on emotional depth and humanity. Erin is currently developing a slate of original features and future directing projects.
